God’s tremendous blessing be yours this day through the accomplished work of our risen lord and savior – Jesus Christ! Currently, we in Aurora are studying, teaching and learning how to apply the grace and mercy of God in our daily lives. Learning to recognize what Jesus Christ did for us when he became our perfect substitute and took our place on the cross, bearing the judgment that God had stored up for us upon himself, thus delivering us from utter annihilation and eternal alienation from God. What a Savior! What a Lord! What a Master! And what a privilege and honor and responsibility it is to serve the Word of God to one another. Contrary to the television program, “Touched by an Angel”, God didn’t give the ministry of Reconciliation to the angels; He gave it to us, you and me. We have the God-given right to speak that Word of God to others. And along with the honor of holding forth the Word of God is the responsibility of being honorable with the Word of God and the people to whom you speak. We’re learning here that there is a vast difference between speaking the truth and speaking the truth in love. Check out 1st Thessalonians 4:1-9 Anyway, It is a joy to serve the One True God and walk in His mercy, grace and love. And it’s great to have a centralized location (at least online) here in Illinois so that we can stay connected with all of God’s children. Every believer may have a ministry, a way of serving, but that service is designed by God to be to all of God’s people, those who follow or desire to follow the one and only man God ever installed to lead the church, by placing him as the head of the body, and that man is the lord Jesus Christ. A great hello from France, God bless you in the wonderful name of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ. We are looking for an english speaking believer who is learning French at school or at University and want to perfect his/her French by spending a year in the country. We have our twigs at home and still follow God's Word rightly divided and no denomination. I took PFAL class in 1983. We'd like to have an english speaking person here with us who will be blessed by our twigs at home. In return, he'll be blessed to help my daughters ( 10 and 7) to do very easy exercices in an exercice book that we receive from the States, and to speak English during meals with us, and the rest of the time French. What we do want is to have an american, or a student at high school or at college/university, it doesn't matter. What I propose is to give a bedroom and bathroom and a TV set (of their own), for no rent. But the person will have to share the expenses of food, water, electricity and laundry. We calculated that amount which will not exceed 300€, which is around the same amount in $. Besides we ask the person to speak English during meals and to help the girls twice a week with little exercices. We already have a student with us this year, but from a program which he paid to find him a family. He learns a lot of French by doing that. We live 15 Kms from Grenoble in the Alps.
